Climb the hill form Highland Drive in Valleyview to this neighbourhood which offers many view homes, including some of Kamloops most exclusive (and expensive) single-family homes.
This is one of the fastest growing neighbourhoods in Kamloops with the original neighbourhood having been expanded out to the East and West in recent years. The Juniper West area in particular has been rapidly expanding and offers a variety of housing types. Here you’ll find townhouse complexes, newer single-family homes of average size, and newer large custom built homes, some of which have sweeping views of the city and valley below.
This neighbourhood has a popular elementary school that about half of the neighbourhoods kids attend, the other half attend the newly renovated school down the hill in Valleyview as the neighbourhood has now expanded beyond the capacity of the single elementary school.
If you’re into mountain biking this is a great neighbourhood for you. Located in Juniper is the Kamloops Bike Ranch a 26 hectare bike park located between the Valleyview and Juniper Neighbourhoods.
Juniper has few amenities but does have the Juniper Market which offers a good selection of staple items. Down the hill in Valleyview are full grocery shopping services and numerous restaurants.
